Basketball Recap: Worland Takes a Loss

Worland lost against Rawlins back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Worland Warriors took a 44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rawlins Outlaws. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rawlins was led to victory by Lincoln Searle and Chris Gonzalez. Searle shot 42% from the field en route to 14 points and six rebounds, while Gonzalez posted 13 points. Talan Lascano was another key player, putting up four points.

Worland now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Rawlins, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Worland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rawlins, they will challenge Torrington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
