Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Skates Past Sweetwater with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Cheyenne/Reydon over Sweetwater in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears blew the Sweetwater Bulldogs out of the water with a 63-32 final score. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Braylee Wright, who went 5-for-8 en route to 14 points. What's more, she also posted a 57% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in January of 2024. Kimbo Denney was another key player, putting up six points.

Cheyenne/Reydon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 39.2% in those games and 27.9% outside of them. As for Sweetwater, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.
