Softball Preview: Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes vs. Farmington Farmers
The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes will face off against the Farmington Farmers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Abingdon/Avon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Abingdon/Avon earned a 6-2 win over Princeville. The victory continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Princes: they've now won six in a row.
Addy Onion spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits.
