Nicholas County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Augusta Panthers. This was payback for the Bluejackets, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Nicholas County's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Augusta, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nicholas County will face off against Pendleton County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta, they will square off against Powell County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
