Basketball Game Preview: Lake Norman Christian Lions vs. York Prep Patriots

The Lake Norman Christian Lions and the York Prep Patriots will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Norman Christian will head into Friday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by Victory Christian Center and fell 76-49. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Kings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, York Prep entered their tilt with North Central on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Knights 40-20. The 40-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lake Norman Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for York Prep, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
