Basketball Recap: Loomis Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Loomis was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 51-16 defeat at the hands of the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Madison Bunger was her usual excellent self, putting up 23 points for Wilcox-Hildreth. That's the most points Bunger has posted since back in December of 2023. Cara Bunger was another key player, posting eight points.

Loomis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Loomis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they will be playing at home against Amherst at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilcox-Hildreth is facing Amherst at the right time seeing as Amherst is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
