Basketball Recap: Plano's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Plano can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down the McKinney Lions 45-28. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Lions are ranked 791st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plano's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-15. As for McKinney, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Allen the next time they take the court. Plano will host Allen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while McKinney will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 14th.
