Soccer Game Preview: South-Doyle vs. Station Camp

The South-Doyle Cherokees are taking a road trip to face off against the Station Camp Bison at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with South-Doyle sitting on seven straight wins and Station Camp on 11.

South-Doyle gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Fulton by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked South-Doyle's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Station Camp kept a clean sheet against Franklin County on Thursday. They blew past the Rebels 9-0. Considering Station Camp have won 17 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Station Camp's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those seven matchups. As for South-Doyle, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1-3.

South-Doyle skirted past Station Camp 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Cherokees have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
