Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Josiah Saladyga stepped things up a notch to give New Fairfield the 'W'. Saladyga went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of New Fairfield's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 7-9 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Saladyga and New Fairfield will welcome Joel Barlow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are 8-2 against the Falcons going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
