Basketball Recap: Marshalltown Takes a Loss

Marshalltown lost against Southeast Polk back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Marshalltown Bobcats fell 56-48 to the Southeast Polk Rams.

Marshalltown dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Southeast Polk, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Marshalltown will head out to square off against Mason City at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Polk, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ankeny at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
