Volleyball Recap: Denmark Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Denmark lost against Freedom back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Denmark started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Brynn Delarwelle and Alex Brice, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Maddie Malfroid and her 15 assists. Aydanne Dewar controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Denmark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Freedom, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Denmark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against New Holstein on the 6th. As for Freedom, they will square off against Howards Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
