Basketball Recap: Matawan Regional Comes Up Short

Matawan Regional lost against Middletown South back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Matawan Regional Huskies took a hard 53-39 fall against the Middletown South Eagles.

Middletown South moved to 1-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Matawan Regional will venture away from home to square off against Brick Memorial at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Middletown South, they and Lacey Township will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.
