After losing to Lexington the last time they met, North Augusta decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yellow Jackets took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 31-3 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellow Jackets.

North Augusta has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Lexington, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
