Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Moore Hornets vs. St. Cloud Bulldogs

The Bishop Moore Hornets just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the St. Cloud Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bishop Moore can't be too worried about heading out to take on St. Cloud: they just beat Sebastian River at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Bishop Moore enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over Sebastian River on Wednesday.

Bishop Moore found their leader in sophomore Mark Dadlani, who posted 26 points. Those 26 points gave Dadlani a new career-high. Brandon Rivera was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud entered their tilt with Eau Gallie on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Commodores to the tune of 77-33. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

St. Cloud's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Bishop Moore, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-19.

Bishop Moore strolled past St. Cloud when the teams last played back in November of 2015 by a score of 62-47. Will Bishop Moore repeat their success, or does St. Cloud have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
