Baseball Recap: Ogden Takes a Loss

Ogden came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-3 to the Morgan Trojans. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ogden saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Bushell, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Bushell has launched this season. Denver Rhodes was another, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Morgan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Ogden will host Emery at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
