Football Recap: Glenn Hills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Glenn Hills extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were beaten by the Burke County Bears 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 458th, while the Bears are ranked 158th).

As for Burke County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. The game marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Burke County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Wright, who picked up 34 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another rusher making a difference was Markeece Lloyd, who rushed for 51 yards and one score.
