Piedmont extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 4-0. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-27 victory over the Parkwood Wolf Pack. With the Panthers ahead 38-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Piedmont's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charleigh Battle, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 15 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Battle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Lundquist, who posted nine points and five steals.

As for Parkwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Despite the defeat, Parkwood had strong showings from Brinley Parker, who earned eight points and ten boards, and Brooke Fowler, who scored 11 points. That was a full 40.7% of the Wolf Pack's points, marking the third time in a row Fowler has had more than a third of the team's points. Izabella Delli Colli was another key player, putting up four points.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-41 victory against Union Academy on the 2nd. As for Parkwood, they will be playing at home against Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
