Softball Game Preview: Grant Park Dragons vs. St. Anne Cardinals

For the second straight game, Grant Park will face off against St. Anne. The Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Grant Park beat St. Anne 6-1. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won nine in a row.

Cheyenne Hayes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
