Volleyball Recap: Fort Mill Takes a Loss

Fort Mill lost against Indian Land back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Michael Smith paced Fort Mill's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Matty Klemm and his seven assists.

Fort Mill now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Indian Land, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Fort Mill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Catawba Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Indian Land, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Clover on the 23rd.
