Softball Recap: Eagle Grove Triumphs

Eagle Grove's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Iowa Bison a 10-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Eagle Grove's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for North Iowa, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eagle Grove will take on rival Forest City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Iowa is set to face off against their familiar foe Garner-Hayfield/Ventura at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
