John F. Kennedy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brackenridge Eagles. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

John F. Kennedy never let Brackenridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Brackenridge still got an impressive performance from Mya Alfaro, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John F. Kennedy will be taking part in a tournament against Burbank at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Brackenridge, they will challenge Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
