Basketball Recap: Fairhill Comes Up Short

Fairhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 54-42 to the Westwood Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-45 back in November of 2024.

Pierre Tissot continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Westwood, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 16 boards. Tissot also grabbed eight steals, which is notable because Westwood is 3-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ari Piller, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Fairhill's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Westwood, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Fairhill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westwood, they have already played their next contest, a 49-33 win against Winston School of Dallas on the 11th.
