McLaurin triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Michael Wallace

Recap: McLaurin Tigers vs. Pisgah Dragons

The McLaurin Tigers won the last time they faced the Pisgah Dragons, and things went their way on Friday too. McLaurin took down Pisgah 64-50. With that victory, McLaurin brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.

Michael Wallace was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The game was his 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kendell Clark, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.

McLaurin's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Pisgah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLaurin will be home for the holidays to greet Piney Woods at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Piney Woods is ranked 153rd, while McLaurin is ranked 157th). As for Pisgah, they will play host again and welcome Wesson, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
