Basketball Game Preview: Oasis Sharks vs. Stone Ridge Christian Knights

The Oasis Sharks will be taking part in a tournament against the Stone Ridge Christian Knights at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Oasis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Oasis sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over Island Coast.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oasis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Llyod Baptiste, who posted 12 points along with six assists and four steals. That's the most points Baptiste has posted since back in November of 2023. Zack Louzao was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stone Ridge Christian). They blew past Millennium, posting a 91-31 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Oasis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Stone Ridge Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
