Jefferson City posted their biggest victory since December 11, 2024 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Warrensburg Tigers as the Jefferson City Jays made off with a 68-46 win. Given the Jays' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Tigers are ranked 487th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jefferson City's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Warrensburg, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Jefferson City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-61 win against Rolla on the 31st. As for Warrensburg, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Warrensburg Tigers duke it out with the Harrisonville Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisonville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Warrensburg likes a good challenge.
