Football Game Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Panthers vs. Lourdes Knights

Palmyra-Eagle fell victim to Lourdes and their airtight defense on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-0 to the Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 34-15 score last time.

Palmyra-Eagle is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. As for Lourdes, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Palmyra-Eagle will venture away from home to challenge Cambria-Friesland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lourdes, they will head out to square off against Parkview/Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lourdes will be up against Parkview/Albany's rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
