Baseball Recap: White Oak Roughnecks vs. Tatum Eagles
White Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tatum Eagles. The Roughnecks were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Collin Wheat was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Jordy Robertson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
