It was a good run, but  Waukesha North unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Thomas More Cavaliers. The Northstars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2023.
 Sophia Hultman paced Waukesha North's offense, picking up eight kills. Hultman were helped by Ariel Thao and  Ryanne Eagon, who contributed seven assists each. Hultman also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Lexi Christie, racking up three apiece.
 Leading St. Thomas More to victory were  Julia Killoran and  Sophia Lobehoefer.  Killoran  had seven  digs and four  aces, while  Lobehoefer  had eight  digs and two  assists. With that strong performance,  Killoran is now averaging an impressive 2.1  aces per game.  Ella Wucherer also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Waukesha North now  has a losing record of 5-6. As for St. Thomas More, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.
 Waukesha North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  2-0  loss against Port Washington on the 6th. As for St. Thomas More, they have also already played their next match,  a  2-1  defeat against Menomonee Falls on the 6th.
