Recap: Chenango Forks Blue Devils vs. Chenango Valley Warriors
The Chenango Forks Blue Devils had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Chenango Valley by a score of 68-58 on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Stephen Samsel, who scored 35 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Nate Raab was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Chenango Forks' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Chenango Valley, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-7.
Chenango Forks will take on Greene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chenango Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Windsor Central at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
