Football Recap: Tishomingo County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Tishomingo County was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were beaten by the Biggersville Lions 45-12.

Xae Mayes was a one-man wrecking crew For Biggersville. as he rushed for 163 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, and also threw for 148 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Their leading receiver Brooks Seago was Mayes' top target yet again, picking up 78 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Tishomingo County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Biggersville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tishomingo County will welcome Kossuth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Biggersville, they will host East Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
