Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian lost against Preston back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trinity Christian Warriors took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Preston Knights. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cameryn Sypolt had a dynamite game for Preston, on her way to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Sypolt is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 53% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendra Nazelrod, who posted six points and nine boards.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Preston, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will look to defend their home court on February 28th against Valley at 7:00 p.m. Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Preston, they have already played their next match, a 56-54 defeat against Tygarts Valley on the 22nd.
