Volleyball Recap: Suffield Academy Falls Short of Kingswood Oxford in the Playoffs

Suffield Academy and Kingswood Oxford squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Suffield Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wyverns, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-20.

Kingswood Oxford found their leader in sophomore Olivia Raccio, who had eight digs and two aces.

With the loss, Suffield Academy broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. As for Kingswood Oxford, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Suffield Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kingswood Oxford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Groton School on the 15th.
