Soccer Recap: Make It 13 in a Row for South Gwinnett

South Gwinnett hadn't done well against Rockdale County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Comets' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 7-0 shutout. Considering South Gwinnett have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Rockdale County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Eylin Orellana Gonzalez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
