Volleyball Recap: Olympus Extends Winning Streak to Four

Olympus had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hillcrest Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2020.

Olympus not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hillcrest between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.

Olympus' offense was headlined by Meg Fredrick and Hailey DeMill, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Molly Hoon and her 34 assists. DeMill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Olympus' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hillcrest, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Olympus will challenge Brighton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hillcrest, they will face off against Lehi at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
