Baseball Game Preview: Patterson Tigers vs. Sierra Timberwolves

For the second straight game, Patterson will face off against Sierra. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Patterson didn't have quite enough to beat Sierra and fell 2-1.

For Sierra's part, Koa Rodrigues spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

At the plate, Chad Simas Jr. was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.

Sierra is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Patterson, they dropped their record down to 7-17 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
