Softball Recap: Fresno Christian Takes a Loss

Fresno Christian fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 16-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fresno Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Fresno Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Chowchilla on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will challenge Hanford West at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Liberty 3.3, Hanford West 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
