Central Cass faced Hillsboro/Central Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Squirrels blew past the H-CV Burros 18-3. Considering the Squirrels have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Central Cass, bringing their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Cass will head out to take on Northern Cass at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillsboro/Central Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Fargo Davies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
