After flying high against New Richmond on Saturday, Somerset came back down to earth. The Spartans took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Altoona Railroaders on Tuesday. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nolan Teske made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Somerset's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Altoona, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

While Somerset had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
