On Tuesday, Warren Central faced Adair County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Warren Central Dragons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over the Adair County Indians. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

When it comes to explaining why Adair County lost, don't look at Connor Loy. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 20 to rack up 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The match was Loy's ninth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Cochran, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Warren Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Adair County, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 20-5.
