The Logansport Berries will face off against the Peru Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Logansport will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
Logansport is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Northwestern as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Berries have won 14 contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Gracie Risley was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

In other batting news, Adrienne Scott was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Maddy Baumgardner was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Logansport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwestern only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, Peru was able to grind out a solid win over Maconaquah on Tuesday, taking the game 5-2.
Bailee - 'Boo' Kintner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Peru let Kaycee Leffler and Lilly Steele run wild. Leffler went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Steele went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Peru now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Logansport, their record now sits at 24-4.
Everything went Logansport's way against Peru in their previous matchup on May 6th, as Logansport made off with an 11-0 victory. Will the Berries repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
