Baseball Recap: Dimond Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Dimond and Colony squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Dimond had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Lynx have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jaden Estigo put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched. Estigo was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Estigo is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Dimond's loss dropped their record down to 13-10-2. As for Colony, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

As of now, neither Dimond nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
