Basketball Recap: South Salem Wins Going Away Against Mcnary

After losing to McNary the last time they met, South Salem decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Salem Saxons took down the McNary Celtics 66-50 on Friday.

South Salem has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for McNary, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Salem will host Lakeridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Lakeridge likes a good challenge. As for McNary, they will welcome Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
