Football Recap: Larned Indians vs. Southeast of Saline Trojans
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Larned can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 76-12 loss at the hands of the Southeast of Saline Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Trojans are ranked 21st).
A big part of Southeast of Saline's win came down to the chemistry between Tiernan Ptacek and his top target Malachi Hopkins. Ptacek rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown while Hopkins picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.
