Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Drops Highest Score of Season Against Russian Mission

St. Mary scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Russian Mission Brown Bears 80-76. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brown Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-49 last Sunday.

St. Mary's is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Russian Mission, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Russian Mission, they have already played their next game, an 87-49 loss against Emmonak on the 7th.
