Wright barely beat Hurley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Northstars on Friday. That looming 13-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Devils yet this season.

Brendan McCullough made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. McCullough was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Parker Osterman, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Wright and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Hurley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright will take on Norway at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hurley, they will challenge Mellen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
