Baseball Game Preview: Siren Dragons vs. Unity Eagles

Siren hasn't had much luck against Unity recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dragons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Siren is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 16-3 to Shell Lake on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Siren saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landyn Randt, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Another was Waylon Meyer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Unity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to Webster. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Tuesday.
