If Northwestern wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fort Mill, they should've done a better job of containing Kate Marker. The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Northwestern Trojans with a sharp 51-28 victory on Tuesday thanks to Marker, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 21 points along with eight boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Zoe Williams, who posted six points and three blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Northwestern's loss came despite strong showings from Jalyn Jones and Lael Lowery. Jones put up eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Lowery earned nine points.

Fort Mill's record is now 13-10. As for Northwestern, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Fort Mill has already played their next contest, a 58-14 win against Independence on the 6th. As for Northwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-23 defeat against Rock Hill on the 7th.
