Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Tooele Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-2 last Tuesday.

Hillcrest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Tomlinson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Tooele, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.

While Hillcrest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
