Basketball Recap: Dwyer Starts off Right with Win over Palm Beach Central

Dwyer had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They secured a 37-32 W over the Palm Beach Central Broncos on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Dwyer was led to victory by Sydni Davis and Maressa Deitch. Davis posted ten points and six rebounds, while Deitch put up eight points and ten boards. That's the most points Davis has posted since back in December of 2024.

Dwyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-42 loss against Palm Beach Lakes on the 19th. As for Palm Beach Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-30 victory against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 19th.
