Baseball Recap: Three Rivers Takes a Loss

Three Rivers lost to Charlotte on March 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Three Rivers saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lathan Meyer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Three Rivers' record is now 7-11. As for Charlotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Three Rivers will challenge rival D'Hanis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Charlotte is set to take on their familiar foe Brackett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
